Part number help...
« on: 10 January 2011, 19:26 »
Ok, I've just managed to buy a heated leather interior for my mk3 GTi, but need to get a wiring loom.  I've also got the button sorted.

Anyone have any idea what part number(s) I need to get from the dealers?  I am slightly retarded when it comes to auto electrics.

Anyone have any idea what's involved it retrofitting the heated seats???

I think you buy the two harness individually,

1H2 971 381 is LHD and 1H2 971 381 B says its RHD, your best bet will be to ask when you go into the stealers but i presume all you need it 1H2 971 381 B to do it?

ok, so I've been sent this from VW...

This confuses me slightly...  I can see the wires that comes from the seats and plugs into the switch, but then what is the second set of wiring just below this?

Do I just need to buy everything in this picture??

Apologies for being useless... haha
