How long are you planning on keeping your Mk6?

I'm planning/hoping to keep mine for at least 5-7 years.

Just hope I don't get tempted by the Mk7 in 2013/14 or whenever.
I really can't imagine changing it at the moment.

I had a Mk5 and changed after a year or so mainly due to the leather.
This time though I've made all of the right choices (for me) and don't look forward to the day I have to trade him in.

Will keep the GTI and the Mercedes until approx March 2013 that is 3 years. Then we might just get a couple of Kias as we would be really old and decrepid. :sad:

I'll be 63 on Monday. In 2013 I'll be 65. I'll be too fcuked to care. But then again, I might get a second life and become a really dirty old man! :grin:
I might even keep the GTI a bit longer, but the Merc will have to go.

OMG! no wonder you were being a bit cagey on the age thread! You might be the elder statesman of the forum! :laugh: If i forget, many happy returns (to the forum) for monday.  :wink:

I normally keep my cars for 3 years mainly due to finance cos i should've paid more attention at school, but this is the first car i've had that i may consider keeping for a while longer and saving a few pennies.
