vr6 coolant leak

been looking around my car and seen some coolant on the snow

and notice i have to fill my colant up atleast once a month,just about half a liter


what could it be

i also noticed the coolant cap thing is really hard to unscreww

water temp is normal
oil temp is normal

where about was it leaking from?
You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.

left side, right side, front back?  Is it still leaking?

Coolant should leave a crystal-like deposit where ever it leaks, have you had a good look around the engine bay for anything like that?

Thermastat housing most common prob on the VR check first! it can be realy hard to spot it too! right at the front of the block bout half way down or so!

its from the engine bay somewhere i think its the thermo housing to be honest ,but ill check it maybe later today and keep you posted on the progress

1 tthing i remember doing about a year ago was take the pipes off the rad and drain all the sh!t out,the last owner mixed blue and pink coolant to make a nasty brown colour

ever since i changed back to pink g11 coolant its stayed pink
