replacing coolant hose
« on: 05 January 2011, 17:49 »
Hi I have a leak in the hose which runs to the back of the heater matrix (its the bottom one if that makes sense) from the engine bay! just wondering if you really need to drain all the coolant or can ya just pull it off and pop the new one on??
Any ideas on the diameter of the hose?
Thanks

You will probably need to drain it as it will all leak out anyway. You can re-use the coolant though If it's not too bad, just catch it in a clean tray and pour it back in. As for the hose diameter, not a clue, sorry!

Worth replacing the coolant / antifreeze at the same time to be honest.
