been thinking about this... I reckon, imho, that one of the best investments you can make when going onto the track is making sure you get a good instructor to teach you how to drive... a good driver in a bad car will be much better than a bad driver in a good car!

of course this does mean that you will have to listen to their advice without getting all shouty... think you could manage that?
