Thanks chaps! It is actually a good feeling when people say they like it after nearly giving up doing it yesterday. Got cuts all over my hands and a box full of broken tools.

I checked the bank balance earlier and dont think I'll be ordering a splitter just yet but it can go on the to-do list.

Looks muchhhh better mate!
I am feeling that you will get the bug to drop it further
Standard VR splitter ftw! The rigidity is unrivalled!

Forget the debate! Most Nubs like me refer to it as a VR splitter!
 MK2 VR y0!

To be strictly aerodynamically correct it's not a splitter, it's an air dam but that's just me being techy and dull

Interesting to see someone getting on ok with a GMax kit. I ran their 20mm drop kit very, very briefly. Just didn't work properly, ended up far too low (lower than yours on the -40mm kit ) and stiff for an everyday car and also had tyre rubbing issues. Still a mystery what they actually supplied but anyhow, I'm all Bilsteined up now and much happier.

It seems to be very hit and miss with the G max kits, I was quite worried after Id read reviews on the internet and before Id fitted em, seems good so far though.

Did you find bilstein alot better?
