I got it all back together today and took it for a run around the block

Runs well, sounds good, sounds very good - lovely 6 cylinder roar, temperature gauge stayed right in the middle, but.............
When I got back I lifted the bonnet and the coolant level has come up by around 15mm looking at the side of the reservoir

I'm going to let it cool down now and see if there is a loss of coolant, I suspect there is.
When I checked the level this morning after it had cooled down overnight it had dropped a little but then that could have been air in the system anyway.
I think that tomorrow morning I will nip down to Halfords and pick up some of this K-seal that has been recommended......can't hurt to put it in and if nothing else it should keep it going for a while so that I can assess what will need doing in the future.
Got another problem with the poxy immobiliser on it. It has a mind of its own. Sometimes the windows come down when you go to unlock/disarm and also left side indicators stay permanently on whether locked or not. It was OK when I connected the battery this morning but now I can't get them to switch off

Need to find a way to permanently disarm the immobiliser methinks. It looks like an aftermarket piece of junk anyway
