I actually turned the VR6 down when it was first offered to me as I thought Hazel would be against the idea of another car in the drive. I was wrong and it was Hazel that pushed me to get it

Something has got to give though and that is why my parents will have the Polo when the VR6 is sorted. I've still got that MR2 tucked away in the far corner too

February 2010. Also needs work and was put into storage (cover purchased, battery removed and placed in corner of garden) due to fitting a kitchen at the time. Not sure I ever posted the photos so excuse the non VW photos in this post:-

That will be the next project after the VR6 is up and running.

2.0L

It was basically a freebie. I share joint ownership with a mate. He purchased it and I'm responsible for getting it back on the road and maintaining it. Unfortunately there were a few hidden bodywork issues that I didn't have time for so we agreed to shelve it for a year and readdress it this year.

Should be an interesting project for this summer

Be fun to play in when you sort it... not a turbo then but a friend once had the same and that was still a blast, love the driving position in them.
