dont buy just any amp, buy one that will be compatable with your subs, matching wrms and ohms

for example, im running 2x 500wrms 2+2ohm subs off a monoblock 1600wrms amp, bridged i believe gives me 1ohm at 1200watts, thats 600watts each going into each sub, plenty considering i wont ever give it the beans as its a show install and not performance, below 1ohm i believe causes problems

thats the general gist anyway, lol

what subs exactly and amp are you using?

just reading this thread over again, it looks like youre doing very similar to myself, i will also be having a hinge unit built, but only to access all my cleaning stuff hidden under the floor, and not the spare wheel, as that has come out in replace of a can of tyre weld, lol

to add, mine is being built by 2 mates who will be using my car to demo their new work of building installs, so im getting it for free

the process is 2 boxes, an enclosed for the subs, and a 2nd, just to complete the install, obviously housing the cleaning stuff, then a false floor to finish it off trimmed in black alcantara, and my mates logo embedded within the build

is this something along the lines of your planning and designing?

P884 POT .. Sorry too jump in on you're post, But I can't seem too Private message people, or even create my own post!

The Wheele Arch install, for a sub everyone seems too be doing, can you fit a 12" comfortably? Also I'm wondering where I could place a second Sub. But I don't want too lose any of my boot space, filled my boot last time in my Mitsubishi Colt, and it done my nut in lol!!!

Cheers for replying to this Len!

Sadly my rear end build is going to have to go on stop due to me putting the car into a curb at 60mph and bending one of my coilovers

I am hoping to get this done before RTTS but it is still looking doubtful

Heart goes out too you pal!! I did this in my old Mitsubishi Colt, not as fast, but completely screwed the wishbone and hole front drivers end!!

By the way guys, how do you go about changing the Head unit taking out the standard CD Player??
