De-Cat By itself?
« on: 13 December 2010, 10:25 »
Hi guys quick question.

Was wondering if I could could simple fit a £50 Decat to my 1.8t AGU without having an exhaust system? Will i still get some benifit/worth to the mod?Don't fancy modding the rear bumper and having the expense of having the aftermarket exhaust system. Will it increase noise at all with the standard exhaust system and de-cat fitted also?

Thanks!

Not really worth fitting on its own plus you will need the cat for the mot.

it`s deffo worth doing and makes quite a difference, even with a standard exhaust.
