The GTI is all the car I want and need, it is fast when I need it to be and is as good a family car as it is a sports car.   For me an R would have been a very extravagant waste of £5000.

At the moment I prefer the Oz Alleggerita. Their 17s weigh 6.35kg  which is mighty impressive!
Shame BBS don't give out the weight of their wheel for comparison!

Can't find these on the Oz webpage.

Found them. Not cheap!

Sensible thinking Giz, not to mention the additional fuel/insurance/maintanence costs etc.
I initially wanted an R, but was pursuaded to be sensible by my frigging wife.........of course I'm not bitter  :wink:

I think our GTIs are really special cars.

Ben was a wind up merchant and trying to rile people, he knew he was wrong but carried on, and on, and on.....
