If you think I'm leaving a teenager to walk a mile on a very snowy road in a temperature of -18.5C, with darkness fast descending and no clear footpaths, when I have a set of warm wheels pointed in that direction already, just because of some OTT elf'n'safety warning, you don't have a very high opinion of me.

Rolfe.
I'm sorry if you have taken my concern for a your wellbeing as a question of your integrity as that was not my intention, i hold you and your opinions on this forum in very high regard, however my opinion of todays yoof is not so good! I'm not trying to tar all with the same brush as i'm well aware that a majority of teenagers are very trustworthy, although as you must know their is an element that would take advantage of your good nature.

I suppose you had to be there.  There was no question in my mind but that the request for a lift was entirely genuine.  We were in a village with a strikingly low crime rate, the boy was obviously walking from the bus stop, he looked frozen stiff, and the temperature was Siberian.  Not to mention the fact that a little way further on anyone on foot would have been walking either in deep snow, or in the tyre tracks in the road.

Nobody with any decency would have turned him down.

Rolfe.

^^^ I got back more than I paid for them so it's all good

If the deal comes off for the replacement for our Audi A3 then I will also have a very good set of 16" Alloys with almost new 205/55/16 Cooper Weathermaster Snow tyres (which I thing have been way better than the conti's).

Man, it's a wheel and tyre fest.
How are the new LED DRL Bi-Xenons, or is this a sensitive question?
