Just saw the other thread for this, all i can say is wow. What a clean mk2, awsome find! How much did this set you back if you don't mind me asking? OEM+ all the way, will sell for tripple the price in 3 - 4 years if kept in this good condition! BTW the early mk2 base models didn't come with the bump strips, personally think it looks better as it is! :)

Paid a tad over £1500, i've got no idea what it's worth tho tbh! It sounds quite high, but I've never seen one for sale in this kind of condition with this kind of mileage so I guess it's kinda hard to put a price on it?  :undecided:

I've been having a bit of a better nose through the history and around the car, one year it only did 34 miles between MOT's!  :shocked:

The only thing that it appears to have ever had any problems with is the brakes, but I guess a lot of that could be attributed to it being used so little!

Also the car still has a good coating of waxoyl....

....from when it was new!
