Just saw the other thread for this, all i can say is wow. What a clean mk2, awsome find! How much did this set you back if you don't mind me asking? OEM+ all the way, will sell for tripple the price in 3 - 4 years if kept in this good condition! BTW the early mk2 base models didn't come with the bump strips, personally think it looks better as it is!

Paid a tad over £1500, i've got no idea what it's worth tho tbh! It sounds quite high, but I've never seen one for sale in this kind of condition with this kind of mileage so I guess it's kinda hard to put a price on it?
I've been having a bit of a better nose through the history and around the car, one year it only did 34 miles between MOT's!
The only thing that it appears to have ever had any problems with is the brakes, but I guess a lot of that could be attributed to it being used so little!
Also the car still has a good coating of waxoyl....
....from when it was new!
