This is all very well but if there is excessive moisture the golfs are3 most likely leaking like they always do, check for damp carpets too.  :wink:
i must buy a new car!

Little sachets won't do all that much.

I used to work for DSG as a field tech, so every PC I opened had a fist sized silica pack, I collected these for ages and ended up with 3 shopping bags worth! Used to leave a few dotted around the car and it did work reasonably well! Certainly beats de-icing the INSIDE of the car!

But if you have a leak, even filling the car with silica won't help!

well at the moment dont have any leaks that i can tell of, no damp carpets etc so fingers crossed it wont be too much of a ball ache this winter

I know Chuff used to run a couple of big bags of this under the front seats IIRC.

Does seem like a good idea.  I know he used to bake it every so often which got the moisture back out.
