Catch can inlet/outlet 19mm, essential?

Found this and wondered if this would work, shelling out for the sachi one would be great, but unfortunately not feasable  :grin:

i was reading up on catch cans and read somewhere always go bigger and never smaller..
Mk4 Golf GTI anniversary and mk6 golf tdi :)

Yeah i imagined this was the case, just want to know why really.

Looks like a few on mk-iv's have used this same one and seems to work ok.

Want to know the 'science' behind it  :smiley:

i would just get the 15mm one man many people have run them without any problems at all and you will save a small fortune..

ive been using the 15mm can for nearly a year now with no probs. use the 19mm piping just get reducers for the can.

I've been running a 15mm can for nearly 4 months and haven't noticed any issues. It's easy to find 19mm - 15mm downsizers and go from there....
My Golf is dead but at least I have this....
