The longer you have it the more experience you will get in the repairs.I never use a garage and i do all my repairs myself. That way i have no labour to pay  :wink:

I agree with Wayne, was it worth it? add the money spent to what you paid for the car and you could have bought a mint valver or a VERY mint 8v.

But at least you've now pretty much sorted your baby, and it's soon joining the mint 3's  :smiley:

Isn't that what we do though?Pile loads of money into our cars to make them right and to make them look nice just for them to be worth a grand?
I see a fully modded Mk4 Golf on pistonheads the other week for £16,500,said he had put twice that amount into it,which i can believe....but at the end of the day it's still a Mk4 Golf :grin:
It is hard to know when to draw the line but theres always a new shiny part you want and unfortunatly ALWAYS something that needs replacing/goes wrong.
If we wanted easy boring motoring we'd just get a generic off the shelf Focus wouldnt we?
