well has just got a big scaffold tube going to try that with a 19mm socket

You should not need that to turn it over, take the plugs out and see if you can turn it over with a normal ratchet.

You do when its seized!

Well if it was seized then that will have done it no good at all, you might have broken a piston ring or done more damage.

I know it's totally different engine but my mate managed to un-seize the engine in his corsa and on his mates astra by rocking it back and forth in gear for a while and was totally fine.

yh just sounded a lil bit dry then put more oil in on the rods sounds a lot better now  :cool:
