So why does every Vr6 which gets broken allways ends in the bay of a MK2? The MK3 did give us the VR6 that is all......

Not wishing to buy into this Pissing contest given that I have a SEAT presently (although 13MK2's and 2 MK3's also under the belt) and would just like you to note the MK3 was not the car the VR6 was designed for. The VR6 was developed in 1986 and put into a MK2 Golf and a Scirocco in 1989, they were never released on sale as the engine required further development. By the time the engine was ready, the MK2 had been replaced. Hence the engine and lots of other components from the MK2 carried forward to the MK3.
