Fiscon - in call use of number pad

Hi all,

Just bought a HTC desire from orange which is great apart from one annoying niggle. I drive a lot with work and use the fiscon a lot as a result, with orange when somone leaves me an answerphone message I can ring the asnwerphone using the on-screen shortcuts, however on orange when you get through to the answerphone you then have to press '1' for the messages (which I didn't have to do with 02), I've rung orange and they won't change it, so the alternative I tried was using the key-pad on the fiscon user-screen, however it doesn't work when you are 'in-call'.

Has anyone got it working, if so did you have to do something like an update or other configuration ?

Its nothing to do with your phone - its a common complaint from Fiscon users.
Write to them and complain - perhaps the more complaints about it, then they will actually fix it.
Surely a simple software update could sort it?

Same here but I just press the number on the phone and all is sorted!!

problem with that is i have to take hand off wheel, pick up phone, swipe it to unlock, then press 1, not ideal when driving !!

That is a helluva lot easier compared to selecting audio tracks on the RNS/RCD 510
