 Am considering the purchase of German style number plates for my Mk2 Gti. Not strictly de-rigeur but was wondering does anyone have them and are the boys in blue tolerant to them?

Did see the thread above but just wondered if its one of those things they turn a blind eye to in general- just like when Police cars park on double yellow lines!

Illegal ones - you CAN & WILL get reamed by the fuzz if they are having a bad day  :smiley:

LEgal ones - you can still get reamed and have a fight on your hands to prove your innocense cos not all copper are clued up  :wink:
