Yeah i have already spoke to him and he doesnt have a spare one but he said he might have one free in a couple of months and he will let me know. No that isnt the same one as this is a fiberglass one. I do like it but not going to get it and i quite like the look of my car so far.

So being the naughty boy i am  i decided to take the golf out for a spin (with no tax as waiting for the log books still), you know just to keep everything moving etc etc. Dropped the other half off at work and went down some country roads to open her up. Everything is fine and it pulls strong in every gear and i was smiling all the way round. I do have a question though, the car seems to idle up and down when i pulled up to some junctions. Got to the first and it sat nicely then came to another one and it was reving up and down but still drove fine and pulled strong, pulled over in a lay by and it was idling fine again, next juction up and down again? is it the throttle being a bit sticky or can anyone advice me where else to have a look? o yeah got it home and it was idling ok again? Bit confused.

Ok cheers is there an easy way of testing, i.e disconnecting it and running the car, should i trying cleaning it using electrical contact cleaner or carb spray??

kai you are dodgy.

could be a temp sensor. our track car used to do this. unplugged the sensor and it was fine.

Do G60s use the same ICV as a digifant 8v? Could be that?

I know i am but you dont get anywhere in life without being a bit Dell Boy  I went out for another quick drive in it tonight just see what it does and it didnt do it once???
