Thanks for the comments guys, i was thinking about writing to the council and kicking off about the state of the road but after speaking to a neighbour they told me that this is a private road and if we wont it to be better we would have to pay for it ourselves?
So thinking i dont really fancy going much lower now but i bet i will the other option is to buy sh** loads of sand/gravel and go down my street filling in the pot holes. Think a trip to the beach is in order, need some helpers (lemski and lewis)

The kit said it was 60mm but no way! Was way lower. She hated it but the seat is going down soon.

What suspension are u using on that? Will mk3 suspension fit it? That would look awesome slammed, see one in Germany with some banded steels on slammed and it looked fat. Tomorrow I am going to clean the engine bay up the best I can maybe recondition all the exterior black plastic parts on the car too.

So today i decided to give the engine bay a bit of a clean as it was quiet dirty. So i tried to clean the bits that i could get to without having to start ripping the engine out

Before:

After:

So i was happy with the results so far, it isnt 100% perfect but it is a lot better, i think when the weather becomes a bit better and hotter i will remove some parts like battery, airfilter box and parts likes this so i really get all those area cleaned, might even sand down and respray those areas.
Whilst i was getting my hands dirty i also decied that the grill looked a little dull so i cleaned that down too and used some plastic treatment stuff and it looked nearly new, very happy with the result

So all looking clean and thought i best do a video of the engine running as requested from a few of you, started her up and let her warm up a bit before i took the video. Got out and went round to the engine when i noticed that some water was dripping out the top the rad, basically it was leaking from where the pipe connects into the rad so turned the engine off and investigate why it is leaking. Unclipped the hose from the rad connector only to find that the plastic part that sits inside the hose has snapped, so now i need to get hold of a new connector
Sorry no video for you lot, will have to wait until i get it fixed.
