Right so i bought the car 5 days ago the spec as i bought it as follows

GTi 1.8 Turbo
Winter Pack ( Seat Warmers, Headlight Washers, and Climatron)
Re-map (180bhp)
Eibach Sports Pro Coilovers (lowered unknown amount as the guy forgot i think its about 20-30mm)
Tinted Windows
Pioneer Avic X1R
 
i have big plans for this but dont wanna go over the top or nothing to chavy

ok so now since i have had the car its been shocking weather and yesturday was the first day it didnt rain so i managed to get it washed





unfortunately it rained about 20 minutes later so i never got round to waxing it.

a Cold Air Intake and some carbon bits and bobs

as soon as it all arrives i will post some build pics

just fitted my CAI (pics to follow shortly)

love the sound of everything

but im highly upset about the power i have LOST thts Right i have ***LOST POWER***   why is this it just doesn't seam to boost the way it used to ....

ANY IDEAS PLEASE REPLY

unplug your MAF sensor if it drives better unplugged then thats your cause simple fix really. if not check the y shaped breather pipe to the right of the engine cover for splits and if there ok get the car vagcom scanned for fault codes  :smiley:

get a forge 007p dump valve fitted too youll get a nice spool and dump noise with the CAI

after xmas will be when i get lots done,  cos i have a the other halfs birthday end of this month aswell. an she dont know it yet but im gonna propose to her the ring cost me 900 hard earned great british pounds

all thou im tempted to buy the 007p this week
