battery box

hi
just moving my battery and washer bottle from the bay to the boot,but do i need a box for the battery to sit in?????
does anyone know where i can get one???????

No you don't need a battery box unless its in the passenger compartment in case of an accident and an acid spill. Beware there is only the parcel shelf to stop an acid spill from coming into contact with you or your passengers though.

You will need a way of securing it to the floor though.

You can buy battery brackets and boxes via e bay or most online motorsport companies. Boat companies also sell battery boxes.

Or buy a sealed battery with a vent pipe as fitted to Bmw's etc

No worries, try to run a sealed battery if you can much safer.
