used a modifed deep socket for the lower nut (ground flats on so could hold with spanner long allen key through middle

If you aren't using your shocks again a file on the edges (with the wheel off) and a spanner on that works.

another option is cut up the upper plate that pokes inside the bay enough so you can remove the shock.
21mm for old nuts, 22mm for new nuts. shocks can be 6 or 7mm allen too

I used a buzz gun to loosen top mount nut,,but cant loosen the nut that holds on the top mount and bearing

you need spring compressors to loosen that nut. once the tension is taken off the nut will probably be finger tight
