brake bleed

just want to make sure i have the right order, 2001 aum,
1- master cyclinder first
2-rear drivers side
3-rear pass side
4-pass side
5-drivers

so it the master first?? both nipples??

just put 2 bottles of fluid through the fooking thing untill i decided to check on here, didnt know there was two nipples on master cyclinder

yeah, out of the 2 on the m/c i usually do the one closest to the bulkhead first. If you have air in the abs pump it will need bleeding with vagcom.

Isn't it rear passengers before rear drivers. Always furthest to nearest. Don't forget the clutch.

And if you want to do a full bleed then you'll need to do the ABS as well.

i've found it doesn't really matter on the rears as long as you do the closest to the m/c at the front last... well apart from the clutch as you say, that's last on the list.

because no matter how much you bleed it you'll still have a spongy pedal... assuming there isn't something else broken causing it like a leaky pipe or bust caliper.

oh great, really need to get a vag com!!!
all i done was change disces and paint calipers, but bled every caliper twice and just the one of the nipples on master cyclinder, the easiest one to get to and the pedal is still hitting floor, will have another go at bleeding tommorow with both nipples on M/C and see how i get on
