Interestingly, I managed to leave my drivers side window open all night on Thursday only realising the next morning. Probably just a lack of attention.
A little further North than you Snoopy over the water, but the same neck of the woods. A mate I visit often is in your area. The young lad I mentioned had reconstructive surgery on his nose the other day, but the news on the older chap is that he has turned into an old man overnight. These fatherless sons don't realise, or don't care about the damage they do to peoples lives. No-one to control things anymore - I can't remember the last time I saw a policeman around here. It's a country wide problem though, not just a regional one
Yes, I know what you mean about leaving the car in rough areas, we've got a Yaris and I tend to take it anywhere I'm not comfortable leaving the Golf. The damage to the Golfs bonnet was done at work by some jealous git I work with, as it's parked up in a works car park with no public access to speak of. Was talking with a mate last night who also works at our place and he told me he came out to his the other morning at work and some dirty git we work with had spat all down his drivers window - nice! And you think you know these people!
I've got to say that 99% of the people I work with are honest, nice hard working folk, that I have a lot of time for. It's like life in general though, the minority are the "problem", and it's that 1% that do the horrible things.
