So, I've had my car 6 or so weeks.
Over the bank holiday wekend I went to get the car out the garage to find .... one of the shelves I put up to house the overflow stuff from the house on [staples like bags of rice, cornflakes, bottles of cider, bottles of bleach - oh and a radio cassette player] had fallen down. All this and the shelf itself ended up on the bonnet of my gorgeous, ninth month waiting for the pleasure of Gti.
I feared the worst when I gingerly backed the car out. After wiping of some heavy scuffs I thought I'd gotten off lightly ... BUT, there's a thumb-size ding in the bonnet just above the VW badge. From what I can see, there doesn't look a way to get 'inside' this part of the bonnet to do a knock out of this dent.
Your thoughts will be appreciated as to the best way to progress a fix.
In the meantime, the shelf is well and truly secured to the wall and the other half has /managed/ to clear a cupboard in the kitchen to put the BLOODY KITCHEN STUFF in in the first place.
Dancing with tears in my eyes ...
