Will these fit ok

Trying to find out will these pipes fit a GTD will I have to do much modification with the exhaust system to make them fit ok.

well your basically going from a side exhaust to a central exhaust. I'm no mechanic but I can imagine that requiring a little work.

The exhaust back box on any mk5 or mk6 Golf runs sideways accross the back of the car so the back box fitting won't be that difficult.
The Golf R & Leon Cupra R (and optional on the Leon K1 and TDIs fitted with the Aero kit) run this type of rear exhaust box, plus there are numerous Golf GTI mk5s running around with Golf R32 rear boxes and lower bumper sections. So the actual exhaust part is a fairly simple aquisition.
The main difference on the mk6 is that the Rs bumper is completely different, so it's not just a matter of replacing the lower section like on a mk5.
I would think that with a bit of plastic welding and rear diffuser cutting it shouldn't be that daunting a prospect if you're really up for it.
