Your not the first one to point that out snoopy

However in my defense I would like to say I was at most 1 inch from the curb, so the width of the bays is the issue  :nerd:

I have the trouble of when ever I park up outside work you always get some rubbish cars parking next to me

And five seconds after I took this pic (which was about ten cars down) from mine along drove another Veyron but with a full chrome wrap

But all that money doesn't buy you the right to park anyway, just ask my new boss's, just spent 1.5 billon on buying the place and can't even get a parking space

Those horrid blue eyesores are what was in the article in the Express.  Lousy w*****s come over here and park their c**p on our streets.  Chop off their bloody heads

Spent last weekend in the Chelsea/Belgravia area of London with the wife.

Christ, there is some serious money there. Walking down one quiet street round the back of Harrods there was a Porsche 911, Maserati Gran Turismo, Ferrari 599 and an Aston Martin DB9 all parked next to each other!

Anyhow, as we were pootling along on foot, what should drive past but a f***ing Bugatti Veyron!! I had never seen one in person, even at motor shows, because there are always too many people crowded around the stand.

I just stopped and gawped at it as it disappeared.

The most amazing thing, however, that nobody except me even noticed it.

How weathly does an area have to be for no one to notice when a £1m car drives past?!

I get more headturns in our local town with my humble GTI than that guy did in his Veyron

I work in the building industry, mainly in London..... when you work with people with this wealth, you find their some of the tightest and misserable people around. It would be nice to have plenty of money but I'm not sure obsene amounts makes you that happy.

Interesting. I did notice that 90% of vehicles were either Range Rovers/Ferraris, etc. or contractors' vans. My uncle pointed out a penthouse flat to us 500yds from Harrods which had just sold for £75m. WTF

I can confirm that SteveP's photos are quite 'ordinary' for the area. It seemed to me that 90% of the UK's wealth was contained within a couple of square miles.

When I parked near there, my car got lots of admiring looks especially the Monza Shadows. It's a colour thing too I presume as red is such a vibrant colour and stands out so beautifully. VW were so right in selecting a red car for their brochure. So pleased.
