can i Paint inlet manifold?

I was tiding my engine bay up in the vr6, obviously inlet manifold really stands out, wondered can i paint it with hammerite or something i dont see why not?

shouldnt see a problem in it aslong as your careful with it and dont get any spray in the manifold itself i belive its fine :smiley:  do some sort of design i have seen a few decent DUB designs sprayed onto inlet manifolds and rocker covers!

Paint, powder coat, chrome...take your pick.
No issues...

Reducing my Golf count by the week....
..but gaining motorcycles.

Think i got it, matte black inlet, kawasaki green engine cover with black writing and blue ht leads, think that'l look good as gone for kawasaki green calipers on diamond black car :)

looks alot tidier actually, jeese wish i had a standard airbox :( lol, is that a sating silver for your manifold and cover? did you take manifold of, is it quite a easy job to do that?

Standard airbox will be gone this friday to make way for my...  :lipsrsealed: :cool:

It's been painted white, manifold wasn't removed and i used hammerite. Was only a trial to see if i liked it before i got my other engine bay goodies  :grin: :evil: :evil:

oh really lol, well im toying with the idea of gettin standard box with panel filter in the but the inside of box stripped and a cold air feed put to it, or a bmc filter??? lol, im goin matte black engine bay with a bit of kawasaki green, jus till nxt year when the charger finally graces it!
