Im thinking of buying this Stereo for my mk3 golf
I know it won't be a straight up swap but how difficult will it be?

Not really possible mate as you have to move too much that wont move! Heater controls for a start!

Could always remove the two heater vents but it would cost a fortune as you would need to have a piece made to fit the shape of the stereo and the dash where the vents fitted. Not really worth it IMO. Another option would be to fit it in the cubby hole by the gearstick. This would be easier and you could buy a blanking plate for the original stereo slot.
