From one OCD sufferer to another may i ask how much are the wheel bags ?

I can admit to that too...
Garage, house, car...immaculate!

Wheel bags:

Power66 on German eBay. Great service!
I think I have 4 sets and all have been delivers quickly.
£30ish.

They are a genuine VW part, but I've not tried to see if we can order them over here.

I am having a drink to calm myself.
All so neat and tidy.

Of course. Did you expect anything else?

I bet your cars are immaculate before and after a drive whatever the weather.

Naturally. Isn't everybody's?

Any other nuggets for us?

Like what?
My vast detailing product collection?
My vast - and perfectly laid out - tool collection?
My oh-so-neatly wired garage?
My uber neat air compressor installation?

Hell, I even have a TV in my garage.
Do I spend too much time pottering about in there?
Probably.

Ess_Three:

You use the VWR ones in the summer and the BBS wheels in the winter. You've got a spare set of BBS wheels and you possibly need a spare set of VWR wheels. Just for insurance.
You should sell the Monza Shadows as you don't seem to ever use them.

It is strange to live in the wilderness and I perfectly understand your harmless and very interesting fetish.
Good on you!

Very, very interesting and I really enjoyed this afternoon of posts from you. I am sure there is more than just an overriding interest in alloys. Take care.

I do. But there are only 6 sets in the UK.
I'll have to speak very nicely to my friends at VW Racing methinks.

I have spare BBS to make sure I have a spare if I kerb one, or bend one.

I will sell the car with those on as they are pristine.

It's not the wilderness you peasant!
I am 17 miles from the Oil Capital of Europe...perfectly located for my chosen career.
The only true part of your statement is the fact that within 1 hour I can be up in the Cairngorm National Park and in the true wilderness, on some of the finest driving roads in the UK.

Glad you approved...it's better than driving this Oil Platform which is what I'm supposed to be doing today, and for the next week and a half.

Where you hail from is supposed to be the dryest in the UK. So less car cleaning issues.

I bet you get cheap petrol being in the business!

Ess_Three..... That is some wheel collection you've got there. I was wondering just how the hell you store them all until I saw the picture of your garage. Your garage is absolulatly brilliant mate. I amazed, great Work. It looks cleaner than a F1 Garage!! Well when your free next, your more than welcome to come and sort my garage out  :smiley

p.s. I saw those wheel covers on ebay the other day and was thinking of getting them. Now I've seen them in the flesh I shall definatly be getting some.

We've really hijacked mike.'s thread.
Sorry mike..
Hope your tracking issues get solved soon. So annoying, time consuming and quite unnecessary.

My pleasure!
My OCD tendancies makes me want to tidy up!

Since I've already made myself look strange...here's the rest:

Tools, TV, spare 16v on ITBs

Detailing shizzle

Air compressor

Retractable air line, power cable, inspection light

Battery charger and conditioners

They are superb.
The lass that sells them speaks good English and is super helpful.

The bags velcro together and tighten up with nylon straps with plastic buckles - nothing to damage alloys!
They have handles to let you carry them about.
They have a wee pouch for centre caps / wheel bolts etc....and are marked for which location on the car they go.
All done, they are top notch. Recommended.
