yes ive had 4 sets of front tyres as i do drive my car like its stolen, For anything remapped the Pilot sport 3 are the way to go, Im out handleing far more exotic cars on a sunday night racing mine at Junction 27 on the m1, And its all about the grip. I get alot less wheelspin even with the remap then i did on other branded tyres. Ide never buy anything different on my golf again.

Yep, made in Eastern Europe, not France.........

Had PS3's, not bad but nothing special and crap tread depth from new. Vredestein Sessantas on now, very impressed, better than the Michys.

Got my alignment checked again and now the car is pulling to the right
Got my money back but in fairness to A1 they are concerned at why their alignment system is not working and have asked for the dealer readings.
They were going to call the engineer in who calibrates the machine to come down and explain and have said they are keen to sort it out.

Going to the dealer on Wednesday to see how that goes.

I have the PS3s on now have instantly noticed the extra wet grip at low speed when pulling away.

I had the Goodyears on the MKV and found them excellent too, just thought the PS2s were slightly better.
One thing I noticed about the Goodyears was my fuel consumption was worse by about 5-10%

I wouldn't expect them to be.
They are a summer tyre.
No summer tyre is good in the cold...if they are, then they are compromised when hot, in summer.

Come November, I shall remove the 19" wheels and fit some 18"s with Vredestein Wintrac Extremes on, with the correct compound and tread pattern for winter grip.
Job done...

Funny man!

I was thinking more along the lines of "I shall remove the 19" wheels, clean them up, apply numerous coats of Poorboys Sealant and store them on my wheel rack, in the lovely VW wheel bags I have, until the crappy Scottish winter passes"

Does that work for you Kenny?
