RCD 300 to a RCD 510 a few questions please .

Having just bought a MK 5 GT  I want to upgrade my RCD 300 to a RCD510,my car is an 07 facelift model .  Having spoken to a VW main dealer who was no help at I thought I would tap the knowledge base on this forum and see if you guys can answer my questions ? 


1. Is this just literally just plug and play ?
2. Will my car have an Ariel for DAB radio or will I Need to install one ?
3. Will I Ned a CANBUS adaptor , I have heard that battery drain can happen ?

hey sorry i dont know if this is much help but when i got my rns510 fitted i watched him do it and it looked really straight foward tbh im not sure about dab though. i think the only thing that was a little confusing are gettin the two wires for radio in the right location for AM and FM and even if there put in the wrong location then you can still use radio but ur FM will be AM and your AM will be FM (or you just swap them back over)
