What camber do you have on the front?

Dialing some more in might help the understeer issue, as it should see  more grip on the front, unless you already have some on there.  I run about -2.5 degrees on the front of the Syncro.

You could also look at fitting a stiffer rear anti-roll bar, but get the front end set up right first.  VW liked dialing plenty of understeer into their cars in the 80's and 90's as standard.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

i really not sure tbh dh all i done was put as much camber is a could on it with the mk3 set up from what i have read u dont get as much with this setup
the front tyres have worn equally so im guessing its not to far off but im not sure

after we had softend the front up had no were near as much understeer unless u gave it large out of the tight bends then it would start to a little bit

its really the rear end feels very loose i guess a bit all over the show i sopose could be a whole number of things axle bushes/suspension set up dont think bearings are a issue as all new

Get some new OEM bushes in the back end and get the front properly set up - should make a world of difference.

Lucky bast.

Now get some appropriately-sized CDS stitched in for harness bars.
