Finally some real work has taken place. I was unable to source the leak last time, well i thought i did. was not getting beat again..

How do you rate the cda against a standard cone filter?

TBH not really sure, car certainly makes a much gruntier sound! Pulled 187bhp on JKMs rollers with only that, Jetex decat and Cat back exhaust..

No, the whole housing as started to perish and snap. There are bits next to it in the last picture (Not very clear) where it has come off.

Pain in the ass but at least you got to the bottom of it, nothing nicer than finding the fault and knowing you can fix it easily.   Well there is but that just felt like a good thing to say.  :grin:

Yeah all the housing where it connects to block has become fragile and perished, also the gasket is ruined too. Hopefully it will be replaced Tuesday :smiley:

Collected the nice new part today, piss poor O ring that fits in as that gasket..  :rolleyes:

Anyway unlike me it will be getting fitted tonight! :grin:
