Have you decided on winter rubber yet ?

I have Vredstein Wintrac 4 Extreme for my ML - very good tyre.

Get them now before the prices rise in winter.

I had never really noticed the side spoiler before as on my car it is roughly the same colour.

Really stands out on Candy White, not a good thing though, from some of those angles looks as like an afterthought.

Just IMHO
Mk6 GTi - returned to leasing company after 3 great years and replaced with :

Mk5 GTi - Edition 30 - Revo 1 and some tweaks - 310 bhp. Its a better car than the Mk6  - Now sold and replaced with :

Mk6 R - Rising Blue 5 Door. Won't be standard 270bhp for long

Family Car : Mercedes ML420 with 360 bhp
Looking at Porsche Macan as replacement

Your car looks so much nicer in the pics with the monzas.  With those other things on it looks like an ordinary Golf.  Sorry.

They will all learn the error of their ways!
MAW is preparing for winter in advance but unfortunately posts pictures of his car with 'those other things'.
Makes the car look like a granny machine!

Hinge and Bracket are at it again. Too much time looking at 2D photos and not enough in the real world. Scirocco wheels look nothing like base model Golf wheels. They fill the arches much better than Monzas do due to their lower offset and also have a nice sporty contour in profile. Golf GTIs and Sciroccos have shared wheel styles since the 1970s.
As much as I love the Monzas which have their own heritage now, they are just as common on Non GTIs as they are on pukka GTIs due to the amount of people with GTIs who upgrade their wheels (again, something that's been hapening since the '70s), and flog them to Diesel owners, plus the numerous replicas which are sold all over ebay.
End of Sunday surmon. Amen.

Amen Exonian for the Sunday sermon. Delightfully logical and beautifully said. But passion and logic are not very good bed fellows and I am passionate about the Monza Shadows.
Amen again!

I appreciate your fundamentalist views Brother Asker, but don't be so quick to chastise those with more Methodist persuasions. We all sign from the same hymn sheet.
