Seroius amount of bodywork & other stuff going on there, but you're certainly getting through it!

Shame after smoothing the side-repeaters, that you had to weld new recesses in. As my nw G60 wings didn't have any holes in and I have Wolfsburg badges, I pulled through the side repeater looms to under the plastic scuttle and just gaffer-tape them to the tops of the wings for the MOT. I originally did pass an MOT without any, but had to use a new testing station when I made the car lower and was unable to drive up the ramps, so had to find a new testing station with flushed in ramps which unfortunately failed it with no side-repeaters! Gaffer-taped them to the wing for the MOT, then stuffed them back under the scuttle for the rest of the time!

Yeah, there'll only be enough of the original car left so I don't have to put it throgh an SVA test

The idea of the taped repeaters it was considered, but this way I don't have to worry about it again come MOT time and it's a wee bit different too.

Wow not posted in here for while...

Haven't had much luck getting the car MOT'd as been really busy and weather has been crap for working outside but will post up what I've been up to.

Reet, so situation it's failed MOT on the brakes. Was in the garage to get the brakes done, ergo I returned to the garage to get the brakes redone. I'm going to chance my mitt and ask if they'll MOT it too as it failed on the brakes that they did. Unlikey but at the mo I'm 80.00 out of pocket and no MOT.
My mate very kindly lent me his brake nipper to test out a theory. Think I have narrowed it down but more on that when I get it but as I don't want to incriminate myself on a public forum we'll leave it at that :D

Some pic's from being in the first time

Note my sexy new side repeaters Original Equipment Modified.

Some random photo's of what I've been pussing about doing.

This is not eye shadow but French chalk to allow me to seat the speedo cable grommet properly.

Worked a treat

Kinda difficult to see in the photo's but the seal is gone in the back of my old servo

Old

New

Brake servo's, easy to get to.

Replacement servo Zinc'd up, not perfect, but better.

Old and new with a fresh coat of Hi temp paint. Not bad for a driveway job.

Stitched my wishbones as an "experiment". My welding is improving every time out.

After numerous coats of primer and paint

Nipped off to see Mr Grohl and friends, good times

Wow, been a wee while. Still looking like a sack of the proverbial but happily munching motorway miles

Was in getting it's tracking sorted. Now doesn't try and kill me whilst munching motorway miles.

And some arty ones on the way to work tonight
