...all the stupid remarks about same or faster speed comparisons aside it strikes me odd that the only valid reason for getting a GTD namely FUELCONSUMPTION is properly being adressed by REMAPPING....    :lipsrsealed:

And do not say it makes it run cheaper (same story as the GTI) because once experienced your left foot (in your country) is doing other things...

I am.

I used to want to  pull his teeth out one at a time with pliers but now I'm full blown in love

I....erm, well.....eh....

GTI mk6, 3dr Manual (Yes Manual! If I wanted a Taxi I'd hail one, not spend £1500 on one), Candy White, Full Leather, Xenons, ACC, 18", RCD510 + Dynaudio, DAB Radio, Winter Pack, Luxury Pack, Fiscon Bluetooth Plus, Golf R LED's.

There are other options to revo - my previous car was a audi a4 1.9 (130bhp standard), those nice people at awesome fitted a Tunit box and it flew! Fuel economy also slightly improved, but you end up with a f'ing fast yet totally discreet car. I had it 2yrs after that, and sold to to a good friend a year or so ago, and zero reliability issues.

Oh, and if you want to bung those pliers over Alan

Impossible to go faster and use less fuel.......and if you are flying, you've got a vulcano in your tank...do not kid yourself....that is unless you go fast a few seconds a day.....than I will love to meet you on the road the other times of the day.

I know those calculations wait until your boss finds out that your consumption suddenly increases due to  a remap and your instantly increased fun-factor (heavy footing)....
