Took for drive earlier.

Pulled out and when changing from 1st to 2nd gear it bogs down, almost like engine cuts. Wouldn't be anything wrong with the DSG box i hope!. When up and running its underpowered and hesitates more and more now.

It bogged down 3 times within 5 minutes, but only when pulling away from 1st to 2nd gear. it almost feels like traction control taking the power off at first but its not that.

When it get's warmer it doesn't seem to do that!

As you had similar issues to me,

I have just replaced the 4 coil packs and fingers crossed the car is fixed.  Just had a 15 minute drive and couldn't replicate any hesitancy at any point in the rev range and it now pulls much more freely to the red line.  Also idles much more smoothly.  The last time i took it out and gave it a thrash i was almost head butting the dash!

I'm very pleased and saved a nice amount by ordering from ECS Tuning (USA).  Cost £77 for 4 delivered and took only 4 working days to arrive   Cheapest price I could get from dealers was £33 x 4 = £132

Time to get back to enjoying the car

Just done live date log:

I got lots of Misfires on cylinder 2 :undecided:

&

Intake Air Mass peaked at 179.14g/s at 5600 rpm !! ( I'm sure these needs to be at least 190g/s) It never went any high than than this, just  up into the 170g/s.

I think i'll change MAF Sensor tomorrow and maybe 1x coil pack

Just picked mine up from the garage who advised that the misfire hadn’t created an error.  I'm pretty sure they only ran the scan when the car was stationary, so can you advise how a live scan is carried out?

I also had a rev D DV fitted at the same time which has improved responsiveness but not made any change to the misfire problem.

I havent but the print out provided by the garage only lists faults with my RCD 510 DAB (which I retro fitted) and nothing else.

Just got my car back after getting 4 new coil packs + plugs and fitted its totally transformed the car.  The hesitation when under 3/4 to full throttle has completely gone + it idles and starts better. The engine feels much more responsive and pulls harder although the previous week I had the latest revision DV value so I think it could be a combination of the two.

As I have only had it back a day I won’t give it a full clean bill of health yet, but it sure feels that way

I've fitted a new fuel pump to mine and it's sorted. See my other post on here.
