when you were driving your car when you had the problem was it happening at mid range and it was happening intermittently? for example...

foot down, rev's climbing (4k-4.5k....cut...4.7k cut...5k etc etc) was it like that? Also I am getting misfiring reading from cylinder 2 and 3 mostly on 2 but its very intermittent, it doesn't happen all the time :s if it does it will pick up the misfire and reset itself again.

anything like you experienced before?

I drive a seat leon FR tfsi ko3 bwa engine / stage2+ revo setup its on stock at the moment but once its on performance settings then my car hesitates at mid-range 9alot of cuts but still continues to climb.

Exact same fault mate!!!...

Changed fuel pump in tank, and then put then put my map back on and it's been fine since. Im still road testing to make the fault does not re-occur.

When the vehcile is mapped the ecu will request more fuel, so on a standard map, you might not get the fault.!

mind i ask how much it cost for the new fuel pump installed in the tank or does the whole unit needs to be replaced? i readded my induction kit back on to the car and retuned my car with higher settings with a revo switch and it seems to be alright well not perfect it does still spike but not as constant as before so im guessing thats something relating to plugs/coil packs/ and like you possible pump and my car has a odd problem with it running lean.
