abs light~~~~~ PROBLEM FOUND~~~~~~~

nice 1 for the help had a look at the cable cant see anything but when went for a drive no light for about 20 mins untill i took a right hander at about 40 and then like magic the light came back on 

Sounds like a dodgy connection, maybe need to check a bit closer and wiggle them about to see what movement's in them.

do i need vag to turn the abs light of and the (!) light......

should clear itself after a few hundred yards as long as you've fixed the problem

take it for a spin around the block then to see if you've fixed it
