It does look like it's at a funny angle don't it. Think I'll loosen it all again and have a play, see if i can get it sitting better. Yeah went for a quick drive early but not tested it properly yet

That's why I mentioned it  :undecided:

I'd suggest giving it the full beans in case you need to head off somewhere like work.  I left it about a day before I test drove mine which left me in a panic as the pipe kept blowing off and it was 6pm on Sunday evening

I'd say that elbow needs some trimming off it at the delete pipe end to get it sitting right... the delete pipe is probably a bit bigger than the housing you've taken off

Looks like that 90deg pipe needs to be pushed further in toward the delete.

Right loosened the jubille clip and wiggled the pipe and I straightened it up and got it on a bit further. Then took a trip to my private run way and did 3 runs taking 2nd and 3rd gear to 4k revs and all was fine. Almost got to 4k revs in 4th but started to run out of runway (it's only a little airfield  )

Engine felt a lot more solid and the mpg figures hardly moved where as before the figures were all over the place.

I'm loving the new coolant bottle too! Just need to tidy the rest of the engine bay up as well now. Should hopefully be able to do my gloss black roof and interior trim on wednesday so the car should look a little better soon.

After loosening the jubilee I managed to get the pipe on further and now it looks better.
