Mine was remapped at 65k and I sold it at 73k and it's still local and on it's original clutch. A clutch will last depending on how you treat it!

+1 it should be fine.

remap done at 78k now on 125k and still going on the original clutch
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

to be fair the Golf has lived on the island since it was a month old so that wouldn't have done the clutch any favours :wink:

remap at 49k now at 102k i mean 82k still goign strong on the original
