Serviced the car today. New plugs, leads, oil, distributer cap etc

Have all 4 alloys on now. Rust areas dealt with ready for spraying, which has been pushed back till next Tuesday.

After much delay the paintwork is being sorted on Thursday, will reattach all the trim on Saturday. Pics coming soon.....

Spraying delayed further. Getting a little impatient now. If its not done by end of next week, I think i'll look elsewhere.

Might strip the front bumper down a little more while im waiting

Delayed another week, don't have the time to find another guy, so will have to wait it out

I gave up on the guy with his promises of getting the car sorted, I took it elsewhere. I'm going for a full respray in the original colour which is being started tonight.

Update.

Base coat of car has been done. Top coat being done tomorrow.

Here is the photo text to me by the guy doing it. It looks very creamy in this photo, but I've been assured its just the photo.

Whole car has been sprayed except the roof, for quite a few £££££

Wasn't a fan of the colour concept side badges, so replaced them with some genuine regular GTI ones.

Received the car back from the spray guy today. I am astonished at how amazing it looks, even in yellow. The finish is amazing, I'm so pleased. Will be reattaching the trim when the paint hardens, but hers a few photos with comparisons to what they were like before.
