I really don't think you will need that, they are standard rear lights. Insurance company wont say anything.
If you had aftermarket lights on, well then that's another matter.

Maybe a luggage net must also be disclosed!

I once moved the position of my seat to a different angle that it came when I got it from the dealer, should I tell them that?

Insurance companies are all dickheads anyway, they've got us all over a barrel and put premiums up cos some little scrote is running around somewhere uninsured and causing us extra payments, it really hacks me off

You have to tell the insurance company everything that is not standard fitment. That includes any optional factory extras. They can refuse to honor a claim or sue you for them if you claim and haven't declared them. It's in your small print, read it.

Does that mean everyone who has 18 Monzas needs to tell their insurance company as that's a factory option and not standard?

When I got a quote recently, they were only interested in the wheels.

They didn't need or want to know of any other options [that included 510/Dynaudio] .. which I found a little odd.  Still, I kept their email to this effect and if I do progress with them and there are probs, I can refer back to it.

Correct.

My insurance company asked me for the value of the car. As with most people this would include any optional extras and be what the list price was. Surely this would remove the need to read off a list of optional extras?
