Non standard items must be declared, but directline were only interested in the 18" wheels and the RCD510.
I now stick with insurance companies that have uk call centres like directline even if they are more. I tried to phone one and had to spell my name 5 times to the non uk call centre operative lets call him Dork. Goes a bit like this:
Dork: Hello, how may I help you?
me: I would like a quote for car insurance please.
Dork: ok well then, i would like some details please.
me: ok
Dork: What ist your name?
me: Alastair
Dork: How do you spell that?
me: A L A S T A I R
Dork: Can you spell that again.
me: A L ....
Dork: Can you spell that again.
me: brr.... telephone receiver placed down.
