If you want a GTi and have 15k to spend. Get the Edition 30 fella and not the standard GTi

Im switching cars, as i already have a car on finance, so im tied to what i can find in a dealer that will swap finances etc and take my 57 fiesta.

The ED30 is tempting, but it would also give me a higher insurance premium and im only 21. They already want to make my insurance from 700 to 1400 for a mk5 gti. Although that is fully comp business use etc. Only young once so got to just go for it really i think whilst im earning ok money.

But yes... ED30 would be nice, but theres none around in dealers near me, and i havnt seen any either in a long time.

We have to have it, as we often have to work out of places that are not our normal place of work.

And they wont pay your petrol expenses if you cant prove your insured. And if you cant prove your insured in this job..... well.... you get the picture!

They've got a black 3 door, similar age with grey leather for under £15k at my local dealer. 25k miles IIRC.

I'm also looking for a Mk5, but IMHO, prices are all over the place at the moment, as the dealers don't seem to be selling, and private cars are trying to be sold at trade prices!!!!!.

Its the end of the month, and the dealers will want to get their sale figures, so go and ask for ar least 10% off, and see what they say. There are plently of Mk5's out their.... AND be patient !!

Good luck
