Odd... the graphs on your website do indeed show close to 180bhp, but calculated by hand from your torque curves show a results closer to 150bhp (still damn good for a standard car)

If you've got 160k on the clock there is no way the car is in top form at the moment. Sorry.

At the very least the injectors are probably over the hill, the fuel system may have problems, and the fact that it stalls is not a good sign.

Mine's got 164k on the clock, and put out 180 bhp at stealth a month ago...

for a standard, non modded car it must be very special. you must be a very proud owner.

my engine was put in back in 1990, when the car was only six months old. All its had done since is tappets (month before last) and a valve spring has been replaced.
So yes, I am proud.

yeah but its hardly a standard engine is it? i seem to remember you posting this .............

"I need to edit that, last time on the rollers it got 180.0!! ;-)

Its a 2.0, with a balanced bottom end, gasflowed head, shrick cams.."

i think what tin was saying was for a standard (ie 1.8, standard cams, no balancing, )it must be something special.......
team grumpy....... its a way of life, not a forum post
